Two businessmen, foodies, and art lovers, Marcos Rivera and Danny Howard, joined forces with local Chicago artist Alfonso Piloto Nieves to establish a new and powerful concept:
Healing the community through incredible Mexican street food and incredible art.
Thus, Zentli was born.
Our Vision, Our Promise
We created Zentli because we wanted to remember and honor the creativity and hard work of the Mexican people. We wanted to uplift their adaptability, resilience, and dedication to earning a living with love and honesty.
We created Zentli to remember the wisdom of our ancestors who with their dedication to work and family taught us to observe and respect life, who brought us the gift of Zentli (corn) and the knowledge required to live a healthy, happy life.
We created Zentli because we wanted to remember who taught us to welcome, feed and respect everyone we meet because we are all citizens of our venerable Mother Earth, Tonantzin Tlalli.
